FAMILY HISTORY: SWARBRICK

REMEMBERING ELSIE (SWARBRICK) BANKS:

PAGE SIX

Jack and Elsie had a wonderful marriage. Like all couples, they had the occasional row, (like the time Jack accidentally hung the wallpaper in the dining room upside down), but they had a love for each other that could withstand the odd disagreement.
They enjoyed travelling together on their scooter and made many new friends as they toured the highways and byways of Britain. Her photo albums contained pictures from places like Grange-over-Sands, Weston-Super-Mare, The Lake District, as well as Dunoon, Glasgow and Inverary, in Scotland. But their real love was the people and places of Wales. They travelled extensively through Wales and their favourite spot of all was the little village of Betws-y-Coed, in the Snowdonia National Park, Wales.
